Part One

I don't want you because I'm bored, lonely, or looking for someone to fill an empty space in my life.

I want you because I chose you.

Out of everyone I could spend my time with, talk to, laugh with, or care about... you're the person I keep coming back to. Not out of habit. Not because it's convenient. But because something about you feels right to me in a way I can't fully explain.

I want to be the person you call when your day falls apart. The person you don't have to pretend around.

The one who knows when you're hurting even before you say a word, and stays beside you anyway.

I want to make you smile on the days when smiling feels difficult. I want to sit with you in comfortable silence and make that silence feel warm instead of empty.

I want to become the person you reach for naturally, because being there for each other has become second nature.

I want you to know what it feels like to be loved without conditions, chosen without hesitation, and accepted without needing to change who you are.

I want every part of you — the confident parts, the messy parts, the stubborn parts, the soft parts... the things you proudly show the world and the things you keep hidden. Your insecurities, your fears, your dreams, your scars, your laughter, your heart. All of it.

And if there are pieces of yourself you're still learning to love... let me remind you how beautiful they are, until you can see it too.

I don't want a better option. I don't want someone else. I don't want "what if."

I want you.

Because no one else has ever made me feel what you do... and every single day, I find another reason to choose you all over again.

And if life ever gets difficult, I hope you'll remember this — you will never have to face it alone as long as I'm here.

Will love you, Licku. Today, tomorrow, and every day — even if you've removed our pinned chat, or maybe deleted my name from your phone... (which I'm guessing you didn't 🥲) ❤️

A Promise

There's something I want you to know... and I mean this with everything I have.

Whatever you're carrying inside — the things that keep you up at night, the weight that feels too heavy to hold alone, the stories you've never felt safe enough to tell — you don't have to carry any of it alone anymore.

I am not just someone you talk to.
I want to be someone you can tell everything to.

Life isn't always gentle. And sometimes the hardest things we carry aren't even our own mistakes — they're the pain left behind by people who were supposed to protect us. Things we didn't ask for, didn't deserve, but somehow ended up holding anyway.

Whatever that looks like for you... I'm not going anywhere.

🫂

I will always be your listener.

The good days, the bad days, the days where nothing makes sense and you just need someone to sit with you in it — I'm here. You can tell me anything. You can share the things that scare you, the things that hurt you, the things you've never said out loud before.

Not because I have all the answers. But because you deserve someone who actually shows up — and I choose to be that person for you, every single time.

Trusting someone with the parts of your life that feel fragile... that takes courage. And every time you do — I will handle it with care. Always.

So from now on, no more holding things alone. Whatever it is, whenever it is — just tell me. I'm listening. 🫂

Part Two

And there's something else I want to say... after giving this a lot of thought.

I don't want to be compared to the people who hurt you in the past, just like I don't want to compare you to the people who hurt me.

I know your experiences have left scars. I know mine have too. And sometimes, when we're hurting, it's easy to see old wounds in new situations... to start connecting today's problems with yesterday's pain.

But you're not my ex.
And I'm not your father.
We're two different people...
trying to build something different together.

If every mistake I make reminds you of someone who hurt you, or every disagreement reminds me of what happened in my past... we'll end up hurting each other for things neither of us actually did. We'll be fighting ghosts from our past instead of understanding the person standing right in front of us.

I don't want that for us.

I don't want distance between us when something feels wrong. I don't want silence, assumptions, or endless overthinking. I'd rather have an uncomfortable conversation than watch us slowly drift apart because we're both sitting alone with our thoughts.

🤝 always

We're a team, Licku.

If something hurts, let's talk about it. If something worries us, let's talk about it. If we're angry... let's talk about it.

Even if one of us feels like shutting down — let's not give up on each other. Call me. Text me. Annoy me if you have to. I'll do the same... because I'd rather work through things with you than sit quietly and let misunderstandings grow.

Not because everything will magically be fixed immediately... but because I believe what we have is worth working through together.

I don't want perfection from you, and I know I'm not perfect either. I just want us to keep choosing —

Communication over distance.
Understanding over assumptions.
Us over our fears.
Our present and future over the pain of our past.

Because at the end of the day... I don't want to lose you to misunderstandings when we could have simply sat down, held each other's hands, and figured it out together.

(And since holding your hand isn't possible right now 🥲... just remember that I'm only a call away. ❤️)

Always yours,
Chinu.
